About Dr Andrew Markwick

Dr Andrew Markwick is a Consultant Cardiologist with a particular interest in coronary intervention.  Andrew graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004 before completing physician and cardiology specialist training at Flinders Medical Centre.

In 2012 Andrew moved to the United Kingdom to complete a 3-year fellowship at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. During this time he has developed an extensive experience of invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures using modern radial techniques.

In addition, Andrew continues to be interested in clinical cardiology including valvular heart disease, ischaemic heart disease, and country health.

Based in Adelaide at Ashford Cardiac Clinic, he has admitting rights to Wakefield and Ashford Hospitals and strong links to Flinders Medical Centre.
